Today as I drove across the causeway, a hawk soared above my car. I felt utterly free. I realized that I am about to be liberated. My lack of liberation was just due to my lack of paying attention to the underlying truth, which is always present. At that moment I remembered - I AM FREE!
So, I have decided to take a year or more or less and travel around the world. I'm planning on leaving next winter and there is so much to do, and yet I am sure the months will fly by. My only regret is how much I will miss Almira, my lovely cat. She'll be well cared for, but she'll miss me and I will miss her. I just have to remember to be aware and enjoy her.
