Bascilica Notre-Dame De La Victoire

I arrived at St. Raphael and quickly realized that I had missed my boat to St. Tropez. I ended up getting a room at office season prices, I think because they felt bad for me. This bascilica immediately caught my eye and I wanted to go and photograph it. So first thing this morning after I checked out of my hotel, I went to the bascilica and once seated inside, I realized that they were conducting a Requiem Mass for someone. It was sublimely beautiful and I was touched to tears, especially as they carried out the body and the cathedral bells were rung. More and more, I find the music of the divine is able to reach to the core of my being.
